You have to understand that these people using 'Machine Learning' (calling it AI is giving it too much credit) to create images really only care about skipping any variable challenge that comes with learning how to draw/paint/write. You now have this machine that spits out images that literally steal from a scrapped dataset and is designed to give an end product as fast as possible, giving rapid dopamine hits to people without them actually earning anything. Then they want to skip out on any payment to individuals who could create the image, regardless of who makes it. No thought put into learning who the artists are and maybe discovering a whole side of work that author curated or that author may in turn like that you, the end user, might be interested in finding.
It's literally a soulless process and strips away creativity from a person. Terrible for writers, artists, coders, musicians and many other fields that bring joy to those who create.
