Hang on the person was killed because of the vehicle sensors not having the capacity to sense and react in time due to the fact that the cyclist did not use an illuminated pedestrian crossing but if the victim had been a deer or other animal would they too need to be using illuminated pedestrian crossings at night to avoid a collision with an autonomous vehicle? Also if the collision had been with a huge male horned buck that destroyed the car and killed the driver would the blame for the collision still be placed on the animal which unexpectedly invaded the roadway?
