AI is limited by computational power, and there is a point when the expense outweighs any benefit. So, it will take much longer than people think to reach AI's full potential. Take the example of automation, do you see all doors to be automated to open and shut? We can do it, but will people get used to doing it? Same with AI, people would prefer to use their own brain to do a lot of things and have AI to help, maybe better and faster, but it can be a nuisance too.
