Little correction on Duchamp's fountain.
He was on the board of the society that was throwing the exhibition. He submitted it under a false name "R. Mutt" just to see if the other people would accept it. When they didnt he resigned and withdrew his own accepted painting from the show. Duchamp was big on pushing the boundaries on what we consider art so it's ironic the Ai bros are criticizing Fountain when it's literally trying to make the argument they're trying to push, but since it's not aesthetically pleasing they brush it off.
