I work for an AI startup and use plenty of LLM tools in my day to day. They are definitely useful, but still not quite all the way there. You still need some idea of what you are doing and you can't rely on it too much or have it do everything, it's clear that it makes a lot of slop. However, it's been very helpful to learn new things or go on a new project or learn about something new.
