The AI is an art generator that can’t be created without being fed tons of data (art). And once it is created, it can be sold or can make money thru ads. Question is: is it legal to use an artists intellectual property (IP) without consent to create a product? I would say its not. If you were to steal art and sell it on tshirts, notebooks, etc, thats clearly stealing someone’s IP. I think that taking someone’s art to make an art AI is the same.
