Overhead Crane Operator.
I believe to a degree, AI “could” do my job. There are aspects that could be done by AI, and admittedly could be done better and safer. HOWEVER. Chains, blocks, stops, protectors, extra lifting devices.. all would still have to be managed and dealt with by a human. We don’t have humanoid robots, and that’s where they would fall into production. The only real “operation” that could be AI is the driving of the crane from one location to another. Getting the chains on the load safely, blocking the load safely.. can’t be done from the bridge. AI “should” be able to take the swing out of the load, though most experienced operators or any with common sense knows how to do that. Calculating weights and limits could be faster being done by AI. Removing the human error factor. A few benefits of AI, but..
Still a looooooong way away from AI taking my job. I don’t have to worry about it in my lifetime.
