It's easy to stop this by our own actions. Create our own businesses and do business with each other only. We the people are the ones who know how to make and do everything, not the so called 'elite'. Take your money out of the stock market of these big Corporations that use AI and put into businesses that only use humans. For instance only buy stuff from stores that use human cashiers. Create companies where people only make the goods, like computers and software and only buy computers from these companies. Do not buy goods where they use AI to address your concerns and do not have humans answering the phone to help you. We need to get with it and get down to earth. It's not rocket science. If we don't take control of this now while we can it will be too late. Future generations won't know the skills that we know and that knowledge will be lost. There will not be enough universal income to live the life the we want. All the jobs that are being lost to AI right now, are they being compensated for that? No they are not.
