I'm amazed it did that poorly given the competition is a bunch of medics whose reputation is that they're all raging alcoholics who get no sleep and the entry requirements are lower than they are for vets. Five years from now though, your doctor won't miss many clues in your diagnosis and will spend more of their time helping people and actually treating disease, rather than trying to interpret our inability to accurately describe our full range of symptoms. Imagine giving your full details to an AI, then you got to the doctor himself who focuses on the symptoms that actually matter. How often do we tell them five of twelve symptoms and get treated for the less urgent of two conditions we have? Or worse, we don't go because the doctor is too busy dealing with someone they don't even need to see. All the idiots in the comments thinking they don't want 'AI' (not that this is AI folks) being their doctor, would clearly prefer to deal with a homeopathic A&E or a witchdoctor. It's like saying you want a doctor to take your blood, rather than a mere phlebotomist. Imagine saying you wanted an engineer to build your wall instead of a bricklayer. I wouldn't respect my doctor taste testing my urine to diagnose diabetes, I want an actual test carried out by a person with a scientific background, not a mere doctor.
