I actually agree with Quintin. Every interaction I've had with an AI so far has pretty much been the AI trying to do what I want within its guardrails and nothing even remotely sci-fi happening. I get that random stuff can happen in the future and AIs will keep getting better, but you could ask "What if?" on just about anything. Just because you construct an intellectual framework doesn't mean it's realistic, and bringing up a bunch of analogies and hypotheticals doesn't somehow show that AI will go rogue one day 🤷♂
