For a work to be truly transformative, it would have to be created by someone who is capable of taking lived and learned experiences and or information gained and using that to inspire them to create and or transform it into something new that is transformative, where an AI system that has been trained upon it and algorithmically present it as something new is basically using the weighted trained patterns of the information it was trained upon. Rather than taking that and recreating something new, it is just rehashing and remixing other people's creative works. And the whole argument that nothing is truly stored is a misnomer they use to get around it.
