There is a predator / prey situation with AI and free public pages
AI ingests all this data from websites and stores it for future use. People use AI resulting in less traffic for those websites resulting in less ad revenue for the websites.
Websites must then shift to a subscription system or fail. This results with less websites for AI to ingest, resulting in less useful AI
You also will likely have less accurate public data because well thought out and reviewed information is more expensive
AI should be paying all these larger companies a fee so they don’t kill off their food sources
