In fairness, he slips in the definition of what a liar is the word “somebody.”
Somebody implies agency/consciousness, in any usage of the word I’ve used before. I would argue this wasn’t a good point, because it would be more accurate to consider ChatGPT a “thing.” ChatGPT should have answered “no” to whether it is a liar, because it is not, since to lie requires agency.
