People like Alice is the reason why companies nowadays accept only 6 months unpaid internships and then fire you afterwards. There are so many artists these days who offer all of their time and effort for absolutely free. The thing is when you do it for free, it becomes worthless and it's value severely drops. That is why artists get replaced by AI. If you give your services for free and are desperate about it, what is the difference than an AI that does the same thing, albeit worse? See what I mean? So many artists devalue their art to the point where it's directly compared to AI.
Take a listen to Harlan Elisson. Do NOTHING for free, not even interviews. Even the time you use talking to someone is valuable. Make yourself scarce and valuable, not 24/7 available and worthless
