Can we, as a species, align our competing tribes, corporations, and nations around a common set of values that prioritize our collective survival over short-term, zero-sum gains? The "only way out" requires a fundamental evolution in our global culture and priorities. The race is not just to build AI first; it's to build the wisdom to manage it before we build it.
