Assumptions we all like it, but in real world I still trust myself in writing complex algorithms more than AI. Open AI is still running at a loss, it is okay for startup, but after it become profitable will it also giving enough GDP growth as needed for that scenario? I have doubts. Plus, some experts doubt about possibilities of keeping qualitative growth of AI agents. Too many assumptions, too many unknown variables.
On my opinion, AI can't solely be the sole cause of catastrophe, but can be one of the reason. There are a lot of threats besides AI. And one of them is demography recession...
