This is so utterly flawed. I had no idea this existed. All algorithmic solutions that are not simple and straightforward (in order to be clearly understood) should be outlawed in all situations that significantly interfere with human lives. That should apply to government, law, and ubiquitous technologies. Everyone has a right to understand the judgements which determine the course of their lives.
