Your argument that art is accessible because paper is cheap is inane. If it's so cheap and accessible then why is anyone using the AI art to begin with? Oh, right, because the actual cost of art is hundreds or thousands of hours of practice or more. I could take the next year off work and not manage to make anything as useful/interesting to me as fiddling with an AI generator for an hour. If you think art is accessible because the tools are cheap, healthcare is accessible too- just spend a few decades in a library studying medicine. This generation of gatekeeping by people with established skills will no doubt go the same way the last one did, and the one before that. Technology moves forwards and makes things easier.
