People have to keep in mind that Sam didn't build openai. In fact, he joined it rather late and is basically a caretaker and manager. The host put way more emphasis on Sam than he should have. He gave Sam way too much credit and boosted them up as some sort of incredible genius for coming up with this when he didn't come up with it. The effectively put his money in so that he could apply for the head job of managing various departments in the company. People really need to stop hoisting these CEOs do these iconic statuses especially in Sam's case when it particularly has to do with this company because of how late he came to the party.
