I think AI still has the limitation because it is not "real" as in not directly sensing and experiencing the world like humans do. What the AI "see" or "know" is what we present them. BUT ONCE THE BIG AI STARTS MAKING AI ROBOT WITH SENSING CAPACITY, WE ARE DONE FOR. Then the AI can decide for itself what it want/dont want to see/experience because of its intelligence. That is straight up life, the ai becomes real living being with the intelligence way way above humans. We will not be the apex species anymore.
