For me, the most important things about art are the process and the emotion behind it. AI, through its progression, simply removes that. As an animator, even though it can be tiring at times, I enjoy the process because the result, no matter how good, feels like a piece of me. If well-executed, other people will appreciate it too. I don't really care about 'AI art' or those who call themselves artists by creating it. My resolution for this year is to be an animator on YouTube (probably Twitter, though I'd prefer not to). If any 'AI artist' criticizes my work, I will just ignore them. Honestly, I think we have a choice between incorporating AI art into our culture or not.
