I also made a new project in python and it was largly the same experience: The AI generates a lot of duplicated code and you have to make it seperate and reuse functions and write new classes over and over again. Which works relativly well, but takes several minutes every time. I even asked it to critique the project, which gave me 10 ideas on how to improve the app, of which 8 were stupid and 2 were great.
So you can get clean code if you know what you're doing, but it's kinda annoying and you have to wait a lot. I also only wrote prompts like "write a web scraper for this website", maybe if I told it what classes I wanted from the start it would work better.
