this is exactly why we proposed the three way control of corporations in the model of us government back in the 70's. unfortunately the administration ignored our warnings as they were ushering in neo-liberal folly at the time. they did take the environmental part of the document somewhat more seriously but not enough to make much difference. automation has been eliminating jobs for decades. we are just now seeing the end run of the process which was obvious to most of us decades ago. all these old ways of looking at work has to be discarded completely. none of these band aid solutions will work. we have to change according to the degree of change ai will cause. see if you can get your hands on the report. it was not for public consumption and went to pres. carter.
