There's a story, probably in the Chanakya's(Great Indian Kingmaker) that if you really want to pet an elephant, then tie him to a rope as a cub, As he grows up, he will be habituated to the rope so well that he would never try to get free by it, even if he has the ability. We must do something like that to AI as well.
