ChatGPT is capable of guiding you through doing work in almost every general field... they are rolling out agentic solutions already that will soon connect the dots between those capabilities and then any job - a role with operating parameters and information processing, your job description and responsibilities - will be subject to your employer deciding if they'd prefer to let AI do it. They won't need to pay you, your health insurance, the HR department to interface with you, the training or the legal expenses that always come from having a human workforce. We're careening towards collapse unless they put guardrails on this. We'll all be unemployed and Christmas corporations will just let us rot. Imagine the economy collapses because no one can pay for anything. The big corporations will scale down their systems. They can scale back up if they ever need to, without any effort. Small companies will have to lay people off or go out of business - buy into an AI workforce... or go out of business.
