I am a professor. And I do use AI in my classes. I use it for PowerPoint presentation. The thing is that I tell my students. And I get a critique. I’m an AI friendly pro professor across-the-board. How do I manage to avoid being faked out by AI papers you may ask? I put them in groups and in the groups I give them an assignment based on the things that they should know from the lessons and lecture. And when they’re in this boiling pot of group work, if you don’t know what’s going on the peer pressure will make them self implode.
All that needs to happen one time and there are back on page learning old school.
