Sorry to be so brutally honest about this, but this isn't the first time some jobs got on the verge of becoming "obsolete". The industrial revolution is a great example of this, and no matter how those people were against the steam machines and factories and whatnot, you cannot stand in the way of change. Hell, as a software developer, I thought I was in the clear for years and years to come from AI, but now AI can develop code I never could.
