14:48 hi! So I’m unsure how much my perspective counts here, as I am not physically disabled, but I do have a few mental disabilities. I have Autism and severe ADHD, as well as some OCD, and I am an artist personally. I find ai art disgusting, and the idea that I should use it purely because I am disabled is actually insulting. For these people to say that I and others should or could not do our own art simply because we are disabled in one way or another shows their lack of understanding in both the subjects of art and disability as a whole. Just because some aspects of our lives are made more difficult or painful doesn’t mean we are unable to create, to enjoy hobbies, or to appreciate and be inspired by others. If someone told me that I should quit making my own art and switch to AI because ‘my disabilities make creating art too hard for me’ I would be furious; I AM furious. I think it is actually especially important that disabled people create our own art, because it allows us to express the differences in our lives and perspectives in a way everyone can understand, whether it’s painting, writing, music, or any other medium, and to suggest otherwise displays a gross misunderstanding of disability and art on a fundamental level. Those who do not truly understand artists and disabled people should not speak about or for us in this way. We are more than capable of speaking for ourselves in a number of ways.
