It’s only been 2 years and nine months since we got the first version of GPT. As developers I think we all see where this is going. We might argue and say things to feel good in the moment but in about 5 years from now, most of you will be out of the job at best you will be maintaining code for older systems while ai runs the show for newer technology and eventually those old systems will be dropped.
