I’ve been using ChatGPT for a case as a pro se filer, no attorneys are taking my case, so I’ve been having to figure things out as I go. Even so, I could tell ChatGPT gives me bogus information a lot of the time and flip flops on recommended strategies, so I understand from the perspective of someone with no legal experience that I have to fact check everything it spits out and try to be thorough and evaluate things myself, and use it more as a tool to form foundation for my claims rather than as the sole author of them. How veteran attorneys with 1000+ cases found it appropriate to exclusively use ChatGPT without review is beyond me.
