I see your point, but... If i have to choose between a world where we have these hugely powerful (not only) image generation models, and where we don't, i choose the first one. I'm sorry, but the usefulness of these models surpasses just art, machine learning will sooner or later change the world in a way simmilar to how google changed the world, and if that means assembling massive datasets against the will of the content creators, so be it. Again, don't take this as an act of hostility, but rather as "the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few".
