I work in this space. And you're right, but unfortunately when it comes to human progress its not a matter of morality. There were plenty of people saying the same thing at the dawn of the industrial revolution. Our world is changing. And people will lose out. And there is absolutely no stopping it. But its not hopeless. We just need to evolve. And teach others to evolve too. There are very big benefits to this new world too. AI is cheap and can replace people, yes. But because its cheap, it can also benefit people. Just in the Software Engineering space, now a single developer can do the work of 20. You can look at it as the glass is half empty and think that businesses will hire fewer people. But it also takes the power away from those same businesses. Now individuals can create things and build businesses at a fraction of the investment of money and time. This will happen to other industries too. The world has opened up to entrepreneurship in a way that we haven't had for 100 years. Its a big shift and a painful one. But we have to do it. There is no stopping whats coming. But we can adapt.
