Here's the thing: if you're *just* a programmer, yes, you could be in a lot of trouble.
But here's something AI doesn't do, and probably won't be able to do *well* for some time: creating and shipping and maintaining and building a PRODUCT.
Too many programmers just want to program. And let's be hoenst: despite the technical challlenge, programming is one of the EASIEST aspects of development. It's very to isolate yourself, and just work on code. Code is comfortable, familiar, structured.
Which is why AI can do it. And probably do it better, over time.
So, don't be just a programmer. Make things. Build products that people want. Be a business person.
Give yourself options. Because if you remain just a programmer, your options will dwindle.
