I've found that copilot has been pretty good at auto complete, guessing what I'm going to type based on what I just wrote, but it's been terrible at solving problems I encounter. I've given up on asking it to fix things for me but it still saves me a ton of keystrokes. I honestly find ChatGPT, even 3.5 to be better at problem solving, even without codebase context. But even that is a rarity.
