The godfather of AI said that AI has high chances of becoming an existential threat. Maybe creating AI was the result of a collective existential crisis, the fear that we are the only conscious animals alive. Its no shock to me why humans long for a higher intelligence/equal intelligent species, Alien AI ect. We cant find one so we set out to make one.
