You got unlucky in that you were one of the first to be impacted. But it's coming for a lot of us. These next few years are going to be weird, and painful.
I would not feel safe telling stories on YouTube either to be honest. It'll be a while for that to get eaten, but I would bet money that within 10 years, YouTube will shift quite dramatically to promote mostly AI generated content. We will get more compelling "human experience" content from AI than we get from real humans. Never underestimate a tight optimization loop.
