I appreciate ai, they give artist such as myself more references. For example, i like seeing SamdoesArt's artstyle but theres just a bit much to see of his artworks. Some fan artworks just don't work with me. So seeing more variations in the same artstyle is amazing.
But ai MAKERS will never be on the same par as artists. They'll always be cheap substitutes that you go to a dollar store for. They should never be priced the same as real artworks. Ai, that only manipulates pixels, unlike where real artist's every stroke has something meaningful behind it.
