I see this. Back in the day we used to fight to the death to get apprentices who could Master our art style and copy it and reproduce it to take on more commission work so that the master himself could leave themselves more time to work on more important and more expensive projects. You get that opportunity now. The image generating AIS in particular? They basically learn art the same way we do, using thousands of references. They're just way faster at it than we are. We have AI generating images that are capable of fooling professional art critics and the average Joe alike... The time for trying to say that AI art isn't on par with human art, is just over. Now you can have a pocket Leonardo da Vinci come in, learn your art style down to the exact brush stroke and layer strays and everything else, and take on your laster commissions for people who just want replicated art. I've done it. I label that art separately too. People pay me about five bucks for AI art, and they pay me about $70 plus for my actual artwork. I used to only get about 20 and I used to have to take hundreds of commissions. And I had to do it all by myself. Working for almost 100 hours a week for 15 years straight. Now I work for maybe 20 hours a week. I get to work on the commission. I actually want to work on that actually make me happy that bring me joy.... Instead of constantly working on weird disgusting foot fetish drawings for people with no taste. But now I get to make sauce labels for companies and stuff like that. And then the AI handles all of the foot drawings... Get yourself an apprentice. Use it like the tool that it is.
