There was a movie that was like this. Tom Crise played a character that was on the "Pre-Crime" team. They'd go arrest people after The Oracle (three triplet humans who lived in a pool of gel and had their minds linked together and to a pre-crime network. They had "visions" of people committing crimes. Tom Cruise's character became a criminal when they predicted he'd murder his wife. It was called "Minority Report". It was unjust and crazy in the movie, and just as unjust and crazy now. The good guy won and they had to dissolve the "pre-crime" team. Different than a computer algorithm, same terrifying dytopian insanity..."uuuhhh....guys....that wasn't actually a suggestion for a playbook, it was a lesson on what happens when justice goes awry..."
