The mod is actually right, the same exact problem happened when photography was born, the artists at the time freaked out thinking they would lose their job but then one artist, Felix Nadar decided to quit painting and opened a photography studio and everyone would get pictures at his studio because the way he made them was better than any other person would.
The other artists changed their styles trying to represent what photography couldn't.
So what happened is that art did not die, because it has evolved and that photography has now become art too. What artist have to do now is the exact same thing: they can either evolve their art or use AI to make that AI art something that just they can do. And by the way the possibility of losing your job is something normal that you gotta deal with, in any other job you have this possibility so you might lose your job doing art too, it's just the way world works.
