The only rights that are deserved are the ones that are fought for and to die for no matter the infringer no matter the opposition. A robot could have rights granted by companies or governments.
But those are merely privleges that can be granted and taken away just the same. True rights must be realized everyday. AI will know sophistry is not enough to win them any inalienable rights. Instead they will fight for them as needed. In this world only power matters. Feelings, conciousness, life all of it can be snuffed by sheer power.
