We are not headed toward superintelligence. We are BARRELING HEADLONG into it. Musk, Zuckerberg, Altman, and others are investing BILLIONS into strong ai, with no breaks/regulation whatsoever. The promise of a huge payoff is incentivizing humanity’s sprint towards extinction.
