One flaw. No juniors getting experience means fewer senior hiring pool and with less experience. IBM etc will then be competing for a smaller pool of senior talent who knows there is less competition and less risk appetite for hiring lower experience candidates. Suddenly IBM and wall st find they compete for the same shrinking pool and those candidates will not even apply for the mid competitive offers. Headhunting will be rife and what little if any loyalty then firm hoped for, will be lost completely where candidates know you'll replace them the moment a vaguely competitive AI looks cheaper on the books. Now imagine the AI data centre located in low cost countries, wherever the cheapest (forget cleanest) power can be bought.
