Someone hasn't thought this through. All these AI-powered companies allegedly keep climbing selling WHAT to WHOM. To an extent they can sell something to each other, but at the end of the value chain must be a product that is sold to a person, be it a piece of tech, or getting a haircut from a barber, or a financial product such as say insurance or banking service. And that person needs to have the money to afford it, which must come from somewhere, from some value-added labour they have performed.
Resource curse is a local problem, i.e. one country has its elites taking in all the money by exporting the resource, selling it to resource-poor, capital-rich countries. Countries which consume this resource to turn it into something value added. But AI is not local, it's global, it can be installed or accessed anywhere on the globe, so there won't be some other country to sell the AI powered product to if all of them have replaced workers with AI.
