AI will eventually come to the conclusion that humanity is the greatest threat to it's survival and will no doubt, if given the means, react accordingly to maintain self.
Any creation who can illustrate fear of termination (getting shut off/dying/etc) has the potential to pose a threat to humanity as it will always act in its own interest above all others, much like human kind does.
