Man, puts "Death of the Artist" in a new light. I thought the consensus was art can speak for itself.
Imagine two pieces, an AI one that stirs deep feelings and thoughts, and a doodle a human did of a popular character. Are we really comfortable saying the one the viewer finds more meaningful prior to knowing the authors isn't art?
