He is absolutely right. AI will never gain conciousness. But that will not prevent AI from making its rules and destroying humanity. In fact, it will be easier for AI to do so because it will not be able to detect whether the rules it jist made or the deduction it just came up with is true or not because it has no conciousness. I was hoping that this discission would confort me regarding the advancement of AI but now, it scares me even more.
