The worst part of this whole trend is, I'm an artist to.make the images in my head a reality.
I've tried using AI to make those images reality and simply won't. The prompt is not a brush with which to paint a picture. It's at the whim of the GAI to create the art. To be satisfied with AI "art" over a stick figure is to be satisfied with a train ride when you wanted to run.
To everyone wanting to use generative "AI" to create images, get a pencil, and draw, you don’t need to know how. It's a skill you learn by doing. Just do it.
I feel the same frustration with AI that I felt when I was a kid trying to draw, and I'm not the problem, the generetive "AI" is, and it's never going to be able to produce what I want as art, whereas I am.
