Hossenfelder, what theory of consciousness do you ascribe to? There was no real defense of your position in the video.Theories like IIT are not broadly dismissed in computer science and such a theory would provide some degree of conciseness to AI - as it would to other, equally complex systems All theories coming from such a frontier field, including the ones which don't suggest any level of AI consciousness, have enough skepticism and disagreement among them that surely you cannot assert yours as fact without consensus.
