The lack of understanding by the general public of AI is alarming. Bringing on CEO of companies who directly benefit from this are of course going to make it sound like its scary. Not saying it's not going to displace some jobs but working in the software industry AI at times is being overblown with it's capabilities. Why not invite an actual engineer or researchers who work on this. AI for now are going to be helpful tools and likely displacement some jobs but it's no where near the level it's purported to be at. AIs do not think for themselves, they just take huge text contents and do their best to connect the dots.
